Human Values and Professional Ethics UNIT :I : Variety of Moral Issues :- Understanding the Harmony in the Society (society being an extension of family), Integrity, Work Ethic, Courage, Empathy, Self Confidence, Moral Autonomy, Concensensus and Controversy, Professional and Professionalism, Professional Ideas and Virtues. 1.0 OBJECTIVES The objectives of this course on ‘Professional Ethics and Human Values’ are: ( a ) to understand the moral values that ought to guide the profession, ( b ) resolve the moral issues in the profession, and ( c ) justify the moral judgment concerning the profession.
